The Death of Kandle
Alan Parker watches as the flames consume the undertaker, Kane in this illustration from the Windowknocker’s ‘A Tale By Kandle Light'. Probably Part 18
"With all my will I fought to prevent Belle from having to witness this demonstration of savage injustice. The smoke in his face as the flames drew closer, for just a moment his eyes were wide open. A word formed upon his lips but then immediately relaxed. Seeing him grow slack now in the binds that held him I knew that Kandle DeSullivan had died.” ~Alan Parker, "A Tale by Kandle Light" 2001
The ‘Tale by Kandle Light’, a continuation of the popular Windowknocker novels, first debut in volume #9 for September 1995 of the PNT club-fanzine as part of the newsletter’s brand-new ‘Spotlight feature’. The feature’s format was designed to include a new addition/part of the story to each new issue of the fanzine until the story was complete. ‘A Tale..” ran from September 1995 to August of 2001.
